Who we are

Simply put, we are a loving and energetic body of believers, families and friends - growing 1 day at time in God's truth, grace and mercy.

  • The Word of God

    John 1:1 and Romans 10:14-17


    The bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God.

  • Believing the Word of God

    Hebrews 11:6, Matthew 28:19 and 1 Timothy 2:5-6


    Without faith it is impossible to please the Lord our God, the only one and true God; the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus is the only son of God and is the only one who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, rose with all power and will return again.

  • Repentance and Baptism

    Romans 3:23, Acts 2:38, Revelation 2:10 and Matthew 25:23


    Repent of your sins, be baptized and commit to God's will.

  • The Church, the Body of Christ

    Romans 12:4-5, Ephesians 5:23, Galatians 3:28 and Ephesians 4:11-13


    The church is the body of Christ, a unity of individual and unique members. The church exists to edify the Lord our God and to spread the hope that is the gospel to all people.

How we got started

Hwy 231 originated from the Johnson Road Church of Christ (est. 1969) located in Christiana TN on Lowe Johnson Rd.


In 2001 the congregation grew and moved a few miles north along state highway 231 in Murfreesboro to a new steel building.

Where we're headed

As we grow in number, spiritual growth is always the constant.


Our upcoming multi-purpose area will serve and facilitate our youth and community-focused ministries as well as worship and bible study.
